Who is TD?
Who is TD from PD? He is the founder of NP.
Tony Diaz is the author of the novel THE AZTEC LOVE GOD and the editor of the anthology LATINO HERETICS. He is also the founder of Nuestra Palabra: Latino Writers Having Their Say.
NP began in April of 1998 in the party hall of Chapultepec restaurant. We were told there was not an audience for Latino literature. We were told there were not enough Latino authors to showcase.
We have defied all those barriers.
NP organizes readings, workshops. We also have our own radio show, NP Radio, on 90.1 FM, KPFT. We also organize The Houston Latino Book and Family Festival, one of the largest book fairs in Texas.
Tony Diaz earned an MFA in Fiction from the University of Houston Creative Writing Program. He is also a professor at Houston Community College.

- Is originally from Brideport, a neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago.
- He earned a B.A. from De Paul University in Chicago.
- Her earned an MFA in Fiction from the University of Houston Creative Writing Program.
- He holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do.
